Samar Omar completed the Medical Office Assistant (MOA) training program at the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) center in East Amman, Jordan. Now, she works as a medical assistant in a hospital and is able to provide for her family. The MOA program is supported by the Women’s Economic Linkages and Employment Development (WE LEAD) Project, funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and implemented in consortium with the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) and Canadian Leaders in International Consulting (CLIC).
