Mervat Abu Ramelieh completed the Healthcare Support Worker (HSW) training program at the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) in Jordan. With the knowledge and experience that she obtained through this program, she now earns a good wage caring for a patient who has suffered from a stroke. The HSW training program is supported by the Women’s Economic Linkages and Employment Development (WE LEAD) project, which is funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and implemented in consortium with the World University of Canada (WUSC) and Canadian Leaders in International Consulting (CLIC).
