The National Conference on the Minerals Development Fund, was held by the WAGES project in collaboration with the Centre for Extractives Development Africa (CEDA), Star Ghana Foundation and the Minerals Development Fund Secretariat, on 15th May 2019. The Conference brought together stakeholders including government agencies, representatives from the Canadian and Australian High Commissions, local governments, community members and civil society groups to discuss the development of Regulations for the MDF Act 2016 (Act 912).
