The story of Miss Joyce Cudjoe exemplifies a young woman’s journey to her own empowerment and learning, whilst becoming a leading role model for women and youth, with a commitment to contribute to sustainable development in her community. Once unaware of mining regulations and rights of mining communities, she took advantage of the opportunities offered to her, to become a champion for development in her district.
