In this episode, the WAGES Podcast looks at the interventions being taken in Ghana to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) – particularly those run by women and youth – in the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. We talk with the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI), which has led economic interventions around Ghana for MSME’s, by dispersing a WAGES grant to our project beneficiaries, as well as the Coronavirus Alleviation Programme (CAP) in partnership with the Ghanaian government, which aims at providing micro-loans for various MSME’s in Ghana.
